Women of colour are making waves in every country. Melanin heroines have carried their own swords throughout history. Strong colourful women are emerging in every facet of life today.
And Glowreel will put their names in big lights.
Scientists, athletes, activists, poets and politicians. It might be your next door neighbour, your friend, your sister. You.
See, I grew up in New Zealand, brown and female with immigrant parents. I know how you feel. I feel it too. That’s why I started Glowreel.
I wanted to create a space where you can see women just like you doing great things. To show you anything is possible. To inspire you.
The aim?
Celebrate the wins, discuss important issues, build a community of amazing people, and nourish the fire that’s already inside you.
